This design of loco was built by Baguley-Drewry in the early 1980s for service on the extensive 2' 6" lines at RNAD munitions depots around the UK

4 was constructed by the Lancaster Carriage and Wagon Company Ltd

They are designed to plug into standard NEM 355 sockets provided on ready to run models from Bachmann
