The 2022 McLaren Vale Shiraz is chocolaty and lithe, with notes of chocolate covered raspberries, Milo, redcurrants, burnt toffee and fennel seeds. In the mouth, this is supple and spicy, with a leafy, amaro esque quality to the finish. Nicely poised, good feeling.
